August in Trastevere
Average high 32.7 °C, low 19.5 °C, 30.2 mm of rain. The hottest month on average, and nights stay close to 20 °C. 15 August, Ferragosto, is a national holiday, and many restaurants close around it. The night ZTL is switched off. Book an evening start and carry water.
September in Trastevere
Average high 27.9 °C, low 15.9 °C, 64.9 mm of rain. Still hot at first, with rain returning late in the month. Sunset is about 19:21 by the middle of September, so evening walks end under the lamps. The heat eases week by week, and it is a good month to walk.
October in Trastevere
Average high 22.8 °C, low 12.1 °C, 88.1 mm of rain. Pleasant days, cooler nights and real rain. Clocks go back on 25 October 2026, and evening walks move into the dark. Carry a small umbrella and a layer for after sunset.
November in Trastevere

Summer, June to August, is hot and dry. Take an evening walk, not an afternoon one, and choose a tour with a seated course so you rest in the middle. Late sunsets give you light until nearly nine in June.
Autumn, September to November, starts warm and turns wet. Late September and October are the sweet spot: warm days, fewer crowds and the first autumn menus. November is the rainiest month.
