You meet in Piazza di San Bartolomeo all'Isola, number 22, on Tiber Island. Your
guide waits by the monument with the cross on top, in the middle of the square. The meeting
point is up on the island itself, not down on the river bank below it. The island sits in the
river between Trastevere and the Jewish Ghetto.
Use Google Maps rather than Apple Maps for directions; the booking page asks for it by name.
From the Ghetto side you cross Ponte Fabricio, and from Trastevere you cross Ponte Cestio. Both
take a few minutes on foot. The walk ends on Via Roma Libera in Trastevere, or near Campo de'
Fiori on the alternative route, so plan your way home from there. Every start point is on
the Trastevere map of meeting points.
Know before you go
Use Google Maps, not Apple Maps. It keeps you on the island rather than the riverbank.
